BVI lose to Turks and Caicos 31 - 12 on May 4th 2019

The first half was an incredible battle of defenses as both sides put up a wall that could not be penetrated making bone crushing tackles. Turks and Caicos were able to draw first blood in the 39th minute and then converted from the sideline to go into the half 7 - 0. The 2nd half exhibited more of the same dominating defenses but Turks were able to get through again to get the score to 14-0. The BVI backs finally came alive with a score by winger Paul Oliver in the corner which was not converted by Tim Parsons. There was a missed penalty attempt by Turks taken from quite some distance out. Some fancy footwork from outside center Noel Maxwell got him under the posts for a try that was converted by Parsons. As time wore on Turks took a few breaks and picked up 3 more tries, converting only one of them for a final score of 31 -12.
