Damion was introduced to rugby at Calabar High School in Kingston, Jamaica in 1996. After a long absense from the game and a move to the BVI Damion had taken up the sport once again and is hoping his newly adopted BVI side will come up against the Reggae Boyz in the near future.

Damion was recently qouted stating "Its been 15 years since I played the sport, now that am back in it, am loving all aspects of it. Though I am trying to put off drinking 100%, its good to down a few beer bottles once in a while put some hair on the chest and roughen up the vocal chords"

Damion is also a member of the newly formed Awaraks RFC, a rugby team operating under the union for the purpose of bringing more local youths into the the full contact version of rugby while having fun.
