Women's Rugby
Women have been playing rugby for over 100 years, however, the notion has only started being accepted within the last 15. Since then, women's rugby had gained a lot of momentum worldwide.
Currently touch rugby dominates the fields of the BVI where the women enjoy learning as well as advancing their fitness and ball handling skills. The opportunity to learn and play contact rugby is also available which opens more doors for on as well as off island games/ tournaments.
The ladies currently hold practices twice a week at Capoon's Bay. Wednesdays start at 6:00pm, and Thursdays (co-ed touch rugby) starts at 6:30pm.
