Welcome to the BVI RFU website. We are the governing body of Rugby Union in the British Virgin Islands. An Associate member of World Rugby, Full member of Rugby Americas North (RAN Rugby) as well as a member of the BVI Olympic Committee (BVIOC). We run both Men's National 7's and 15's programs that compete annually in regional tournaments.

In 2023 Coach Stuart Fee from Scotland had been preparing the squad with intense training which culminated in a win at 15's vs a Select squad from the Dominican Republic.
There has been no rugby in 2024 but with the AGM coming up next week on May 8th 2024 there is plans a foot to get back on the field. |

Job Title: Rugby Development Office
Position Overview:
As a Rugby Development Officer, you will play a vital role in the growth and development of rugby in the British Virgin Islands. You will be responsible for organizing and implementing rugby programs, coaching sessions, and events that cater to a diverse range of age groups and skill levels. Your goal will be to nurture talent, instill sportsmanship, and contribute to the success of rugby in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute comprehensive rugby development programs for youth and adults.
· Provide high-quality coaching and training sessions to the youth and senior national teams.
· Organize and manage rugby tournaments, leagues, and events.
· Assist in arranging the annual rugby dinner and various fund-raising activities throughout the year.
· Collaborate with schools, clubs, and community organizations to promote rugby and provide rugby coaching at schools. To communicate with the schools in setting-up the youth programs.
· Foster a positive and inclusive rugby culture that values teamwork, respect, and discipline.
· Promote rugby as a means of promoting physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle.
· Manage equipment and resources necessary for rugby programs.
· Performing required administrative functions, including keeping adequate records, compliance with key performance indicators and providing reports to the committee.
Qualifications:
· Certified rugby coach with a recognized coaching qualification (e.g. World Rugby Level 2).
· Strong rugby playing experience and a deep understanding of the game.
· Excellent coaching and communication skills.
· Passion for youth development and community engagement.
· Proven ability to organize and manage rugby events and programs.
· First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).
· Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
· Valid driver's license.
